Visitors to America always come away impressed with the quality of the food, service and very reasonable prices.

The owners of Fatties, Don J and his wife Kuhn A are very much part of this tradition. This extends to the Brit and Mexican menu areas as well. All ingredients are fresh, top quality and served in typically American profusion (that’s BIG portions to you and I).

The service staff is one that should be widely emulated. They are a charming, relaxed, knowledgeable and friendly crew. All questions are answered fully in very understandable English - even if yours isn’t.

Special orders seem to be a house tradition. Kuhn A and the Bangkok trained chef, Pah are always more than happy to help “design an entree”.

As someone who enjoys a wee dram before dinner, I was very impressed by the generous allotment provided at Fatties. Don says he “learned drinking” in the Irish bars on Third Ave in New York City and studied hard apparently.

When you’re really hungry, really thirsty or just want a very good meal served promptly; Fatties is the place.
